Mark Trivanović
Mark is a visiting graduate researcher at the UCSF Brain Tumor Center, with an academic background in age-related neurodegeneration, including research on Parkinson’s disease, and atypical parkinsonisms. I have also always held a fascination for neuro-oncology, particularly the complex interactions between brain tumors and the immune-neural microenvironment. My current research focuses on understanding how glioblastoma integrates into neural circuits and interacts with the immune system, contributing to tumor resistance and therapeutic challenges. I am excited about exploring innovative approaches such as focused ultrasound to enhance drug delivery across the blood-brain barrier, with the goal of translating cutting-edge discoveries into clinical advancements for brain tumor patients.
