
Rachelle Yang
Undergraduate Researcher
Rachelle Yang is a UC Berkeley undergraduate majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology with an emphasis in Immunology and Molecular Medicine. Passionate about advancing cancer treatments, she is interested in exploring the glioblastoma tumor microenvironment and strategies to improve immunology-based therapies and maximize drug delivery. Her other research interests include CAR-T cell therapies, oncolytic viruses, tumor escape mechanisms, and checkpoint inhibition. Through mentorship at the Young Lab, Rachelle aims to pursue graduate studies and a career in immuno-oncology. Outside of the lab, she enjoys reading books, baking, playing taiko, and visiting cafes.
