Venkat Ayalavarapu, BS

Venkat Ayalavarapu is a Junior Specialist with a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University. He is passionate about neuro-oncology, cancer immunotherapy, and the molecular mechanisms underlying brain tumors. He has previously conducted research on oncolytic virotherapy for glioblastoma at the Harvey Cushing Neurosurgery Laboratory and contributed to synthetic genome engineering in the George Church Lab at Harvard Medical School. Venkat is excited to work in the Young Lab to unravel the complexities of the glioblastoma tumor microenvironment and help advance therapeutic strategies against tumor progression.
